WHY TINT YOUR WINDOWS?

QUEBEC WINDOW TINT LAW

What’s legal on front side windows: 88% VLT and 70% VLT only.
Windshield: Tint strip at the top only. Rear side windows and rear windshield: No restrictions – any shade is legal.

35% VLT is the most popular shade overall, but it is not legal on front side windows in Quebec. We always inform you of the rules so you can make the best decision for your vehicle.

FAQ

General Questions

What type of tint do you use?

Ceramic only. We don't install dye or metallic films. Ceramic delivers superior heat rejection, UV protection, and clarity without fading or signal interference.

What's The Difference between Ceramic Tint & Ceramic Tint Plus?

Ceramic Tint blocks up to 88% of infrared heat. Ceramic Tint Plus blocks up to 98% with better optical clarity at every shade. Plus is ideal for EVs, luxury vehicles, and anyone who wants maximum heat rejection.

Is 35% tint legal in Quebec?

Not on front side windows. Only 88% and 70% VLT are legal on the fronts. Rear windows have no restrictions. We always explain the rules before you choose.

How long does installation take?

Same day - typically 2 to 3 hours depending on the number of windows.

Where is tinting performed?

All window tinting is done at our shop in Dorval (2225 Boul Hymus #105). A controlled indoor environment is required for clean, dust-free installation.

Will tint interfere with my phone, GPS, or sensors?

No. Ceramic film does not interfere with electronics. Metallic films can - that's why we don't use them.

Can I see the shades before choosing?

Yes. Visit our shop and we'll show you the different shades on sample glass. You can also try our online tint simulator.

What do I need to do after installation?

Keep your windows closed for 2 to 4 days (2 days in summer, up to 4 in winter) to allow the film to cure. Small water bubbles may appear during curing - they'll disappear on their own.

Can I combine tinting with other services?

Yes. Window tinting can be done during the same shop visit as PPF or ceramic coating. Save a trip.

Does window tint block UV rays?

Yes. Both films block 99% of UV rays, protecting your skin and preventing interior fading and cracking.

Do you tint windshields?

Windshield tint is available as a light ceramic strip at the top. Full windshield tint is quoted separately. Contact us for details.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Flexible financing options available. Contact us for details.
